CBOne at the Graz Marathon 2012: efficient run, no emissions
CBOne took part to the Graz Marathon on the 14.10.2012, which is a nice way to start the academic year.
We would like to congratulate Rémi Paquet for being the fastest member of the CBOne''s team at the Graz City Run. Rémi is a part of CBOne since September 2012.

The Graz City Run is a course of 11,5 km. For most of the participants, not marathoners but casual Sunday joggers, it takes usually one hour to complete it. Some are faster, some are slower, most of them sweat a lot.

Everybody have their moments of joy and pain during the run and everybody feel the funny mix of aching legs and the peak of endorphins at the finish. Like Rémi did.
11,5 km. It would take approximately 0,6 liters of gasoline to cover the same distance by car, endorphins not included! Now, with these aching legs in mind, think about the number of kilometers you drive each year.
Think about the energy and convert it into aching legs. Give a scale to common things is what good engineers do.
Now, if you like performance. You would like to cross the same distance in less than one hour. You did good this year, but next year''s goal is 11,5 km in less than one hour. It is just a few percentage of improvement in your velocity so it is feasible. It is possible! Same distance, better use of available energy, less consumption and more enjoyment.
This is what Combustion Bay One is all about. Advanced combustion Management.
It is not about a revolution, it is about something achievable. It is about a noticeable improvement in the use of fuels for Energy and Propulsion systems. This is possible with updated technologies, common sense and also a little bit of an effort.
Less fuel consumption means a better management of the remaining fossil resources. It means relieve for the planet. It means a release of your energy costs. It means extended time and more available funds for replacement and renewable energies to develop properly, organise and eventually catch up.
Do not waste your energy. Do the best with it.
Like Rémi at Combustion Bay One.
